Whoops a daisy!!

So tonight I decided to back into a tree. Danny and I had been online looking at friends blogs and we came across a friend who had been in a car accident. I opened my big mouth and said to Danny what would you do if I did something like that to the Escalade.

Not five minutes latter we went outside to leave Danny's parents house and I backed into a tree. It was dark and really late. His parents have a circular driveway and it is really dark at night. I was even using my mirrors when I hit. I couldn't figure out what I had hit because I always check to see if there is a car parked behing me. Glass went flying everywhere and my kids were screaming. It didn't help that it was windy. We had 60mph wind warnings. So the glass was everywhere, more than normal. At first I really thought the wind had made a branch go in my back window. But Danny claims the tire marks were on both sides of the tree. So it was my fault. What do ya do. Weve been married almost 7 yrs. and I've never done anything like this or been in an accident. I guess it was my turn.

Luckily it was just the window that needed replaced. All I could say is ARE YOU SERIOUS! That blog was very bad luck for me. So Jess I hope your car is ok. Heavenly Father sure has a funny way of getting even when you open your mouth about something. Like when you say, "I would never do that, or my kids will never do that and then they do." So this is what happened to me. I will never ask Danny again, "What would you do if I did something like that ." He was very nice and just laughs at me for trying to blame it on the wind!

Happy Birthday Codan

I'm the Birthday Boy!
The big ONE!

What the heck is all this stuff!

So here is the deal with the cake. It was late all four kids were screaming. Danny was helping me with the cake and this is what happened. We ran out of room for Birthday and I guess his name is now Corban. We laughed for so long my tummy hurt. It's a good thing he is one and doesn't realize what is going on. This year we had a party over and Danny's parents and that cake flopped too. I guess we are not good with cakes. I am still waiting to get the pictures from his mom. So those are coming soon.

Yummy!

He loves his new swing. YEA!

My Baby is One

CODAN TREY MATSON
We love you so much!
Wow I can hardly stand to look back at the pictures of how much weight I gained. But it was all worth it. Here I am ready to pop right before we went to the hospital at 4:30 a.m. We were hoping for a ST. Patricks Day baby since all of the kids are born on or by a holiday. However you came out the next day. You still are my little lucky charm! It makes me sooo sad to think that my baby is one already. WOW how time flies.

Daddy getting ready for the delivery. He actually delivered me with the help of Dr. Sawyer behind him. He did the whole thing we have more pictures but I thought we would keep it G rated for the blog! Three pushes and you were out. It was a really cool yet weird experience to have your dad deliver you.

Proud mom and dad! We are so happy you joined our family!

Cowboy Up

The cutest cowboy ever!

Today was Cowboy day at Preschool. The boys were so excited to get dressed up. Luckily for Brody he had just gotten over pink eye and was able to go.

Brody is in a little stage where he gets all embarrassed if everyone is looking at him. So when I tried to get a picture of him with his teacher this is what I got. He is only 4 and he said to me(mom don't your embarrassing me.) I thought that happened when they got older. Oh well.

Brody and Caviston BFF's!

Don't they look like they are ready to rob a train or something?!

Pink Eye

So we survived pink eye once again. We have already had it twice this year. The bad thing about having six in the family is that you just keep passing it around. And since pink eye spreads like wild fire it is hard to keep it under control. I would make the kids all line up after bath time to get the drops in their eyes. By the third day they all knew just what to do. However if Danny was around they wanted him to do it. They thought he did a better job.

Poor Codan though, he had it so bad his eye was almost swollen shut. I couldn't help but laugh every time I looked at him. He was such a good sport though. What a cute boy.

I promise it was just pink eye. My poor baby boy!

P.S. Sorry to all the family and friends that caught it from us. I feel really bad, but what do ya do?
