Almost a sleep over!

So the other night Brody and Caviston wanted to have a sleep over so I caved and let them. It started out great. They played their leapster games and were in there giggling forever. Finally Caviston was ready for bed but not Brody.

About ten minutes after I took these pictures Caviston came walking out saying he was ready to go home. Brody was keeping him up. We couldn't talk him into staying so Danny took him home. We'll try again soon.

Happy Valentines

How cute are we?
Valentines morning the kids came down to a little surprise. I made them a heart shaped message they could only see once they painted the paper. You write on white paper with a white crayon, then when they paint it the words appear. The kids thought this was great. I loved it because it kept them entertained while Danny and I made breakfast. We had heart shaped waffles and eggs. The kids had a good time. They also got the movie Madagascar 2 and few other fun things. They had sooo much fun you would have thought it was Christmas! Thanks mom for the memories and ideas that I have now passed on to my kids!

When I was a little girl my mom used to braid me and my sisters hair in a heart shape. So Karlee thought it would be cool to have one too. So I gave it a try. Looks pretty cute if I do say so myself.

Later that night we had a candle lit dinner with the four kidos. Brody loves when we get the candles out. They think it is the coolest thing ever.

Danny now has three girls to take out for Valentines. What a lucky guy!!

The only picture of me and my cute hubby. Thanks to Karlee for capturing the moment. What a good little photographer.

Today was a fun but long day. Thank so much to my wonderful husband who helped clean, cook and deal with four crazy kids all day without complaining. You really are the best! Without you this day would not have been possible. Thanks for the memories we are having with our family that will last a lifetime. It may seem long but we will look back and it will be over in a blink of an eye. I love you so much!

Time Out!

Brody always finds something to do in time out.

Utah her we come!

So we decided to take an adventure and make the long trek to Utah. It normally takes 9hrs. however on this occasion it turned into 14hrs. With four kids I don't suggest doing it. I do have to say that the kids were troopers. We saw two semi's roll and the roads were covered in ice.

The first thing the kids did when we got there was go out in the snow. Papa Mike
took them out on the 4wheeler and they has such a blast. Brody loves the snow, Jadyn thinks it's cold. She loves her flip flops and ran out in the snow bare foot she learned the hard way that she needs tennis shoes in Utah. Karlee loved whit washing her brother. Oh what fun snow is.

The snowman they made with Papa and Daddy.

My sister Tiffany with Jade and Codan! How cute are they!!

We love you Aunt Tiffy!!!

New Year's Eve we went with my family to eat. To bad I didn't get a picture of everyone!

Thanks mom and dad for having us we love and miss you so much!

Christmas Morning

Danny always likes to get a picture of how neat everything is before it gets all destroyed.
I have to say it looks like the kids were good this year. Hmmm. Not sure about that, however Santa's a pretty nice guy and came anyways. Despite mom telling everyone he wasn't coming. Brody didn't believe me. And sure enough he was right. Santa did come after all.

Codan wasn't sure of what was going on. But he decided it was a lot of fun!

She loved her new sketchers. Look DAD!

Brody thought he was too cool with his skateboard. However he was a little upset that Santa didn't bring one for his friend Caviston too. I told him Cavy got what he wanted and that it was very nice of him to think of his friend.

Karlee wanted an art table to store all of her crafts! It has also been great for doing her homework!

The kids on the teeter totter Santa brought for Jadyn. They all loved it!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we went to Danny's Families it was so much fun. We ate lots of yummy food of course! The kids did the Nativity Play. It was soo cute. I didn't think it would go as well as it did, but they did a great job. Karlee and Brody wanted to leave and get home for Santa. This year was so much fun because they believed so much. The drive home they kept watching out the window for Rudolph. The Christmas Season really comes alive with little kids. I'm so grateful for my kids and the joy and laughter they bring into our lives. Remember to cherish these moments because they grow up so fast!

Brody and Caviston all dressed up for their parts. Brody was Joseph and Caviston was a Shepherd.

Karlee was the angel and her cousin Monterey was Mary.

The whole group

Isn't he sooo cute!

Santa Clause

We were so busy this year that we were lucky to get one picture with Santa at our ward Christmas party. It wasn't the best but at least we got one. It's a good thing Santa has a big lap. We better stop at four kids so they can all fit!! I thought Codan would be scared but I guess he figured his brother had his back. What was there to be scared of. The older kids were so excited everyone was talking at once. Karlee started to cry because she wasn't sure if Santa had herd what she wanted.
